Drawn with Templot to P4 Standards.
This proved to be an interesting little project.
The plan was imported into Templot and then the major lines set in place over it as closely as possible while maintaining a good flow.
Then the positions of the point blades were identified by scaling from the plan and the size of turnout ascertained by trial and error.
The crossover was the most difficult. Once the basic plan was drawn, a good deal of time was spent in producing turnouts with interlaced timbering. This required each one to be at least two partial templates. Much timber shoving resulted from that but I think it captured the spirit of the time.
I hope one day to have some pictures of the completed track work from my client to add to this narrative.
